Breast Cancer
Dr Natasha Das helps spread awareness about breast cancer screening procedures. Most women, even doctors, do not realize that by spending just a few minutes each month they can be more aware about subtle changes that occur in their breasts. This can go a long way in early detection of breast cancer. An early detection is the key to better survival.
Through her workshops Natasha empowers women by teaching them how to examine their own breasts at home and when to report to a doctor. She uses slide presentation, video demonstration, and live demonstration on mannequins to communicate her message.
She has conducted such workshops across different cities in India. Over the years, she has conducted several workshops at offices such as SPG, CRPF, ONGC, and the Rashtrapati Bhawan; schools such as Stewart School, Lancer's Convent etc; NGOs and professional associations such as Mahila Raksha Samiti, Schumakers, YWCA, Faridabad Obs & Gyne Society etc ; and private gatherings such as RWAs, ladies clubs, kitty parties etc. Check out our photo gallery to see some pictures from Natasha's cancer screening workshops.
For her it does not matter if it is a group of 2 or 200 ladies. Natasha is ready to come and share her knowledge as a doctor. She conducts such workshops at a personal level and also through the I CAN WIN Association. For workshop details, email her.
